Orzo, which means "barley" in Italian, has a similar texture of traditional Arborio rice, and is a perfect complement to broths and vegetables traditionally used in soups.
Preparation and Cooking:
Boil - Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Add pasta to boiling water. Boil for 9 minutes stirring occasionally. For use in soups undercook by 1 to 3 minutes. Drain well.
